What are your lenses made of?TOP
All of our lenses are made of high quality CR-39 Plastic. We do not sell glass lenses.
Don't plastic lenses scratch?TOP
The CR-39 Plastic lenses scratch less than the conventional Plastic lenses, but they still do scratch. We’d be lying if we said otherwise. Of course, the extent of scratching depends on how well they are handled. Scratches, while not likely to affect your lens performance, are an annoyance that can interfere with clear vision.
This is the reason why all our lenses come pre-treated with Premium Anti-scratch Coating in order to resist scratches. On some websites, you need to pay extra for this coating, but we include this coating absolutely free. Although the coating is not 100% scratch proof, it helps to prevent minor scratches that can damage the surface of the lens. Our premium Anti-Scratch Coating will keep your glasses in mint condition for longer.
Tips: Remember to keep your glasses in a cushioned, sturdy case when not wearing them. Clean them regularly with warm, soapy water and dry them with a clean, soft cloth.

LENS COATINGS EXPLAINED
Anti-Scratch CoatingTOP
Our Premium Anti-scratch coating is applied to your lenses in order to resist scratches. Although the coating is not 100% scratch proof, it helps to prevent minor scratches that can damage the surface of the lens. Our premium Anti-Scratch Coating will keep your glasses in mint condition for longer.
We currently offer FREE Premium Anti-Scratch Coating on all our lenses.
Anti-Reflective CoatingTOP
Our premium Anti-reflective coatings help reduce distractions such as glare and surface reflections. This coating ensures more light passes into the eye, enhancing vision in low light levels and glare situations. The coating is the best solution for night driving (head lights and street lights), computer usage and watching TV.
The coating makes the lenses almost invisible by reducing the front surface reflectance, thereby ensuring that your eyes remain the focus of attention and not your glasses. Any great-looking pair of glasses will look even better with our Premium Anti-Reflective Coating!
We currently offer FREE Premium Anti-Reflective Coating on all our lenses.
UV400 CoatingTOP
Invisible to the naked eye, our Premium UV400 (ultraviolet) Coating provides superior protection for the eyes. Over-exposure to UV light may cause cataracts, retinal damage, and many other eye problems. This coating is highly recommended if you spend a lot of time in direct or indirect sunlight (such as through the windscreen of a car).
We currently offer FREE Premium UV400 Coating on all our lenses.
Water Repellent (Hydrophobic Coating)TOP
Our Premium Water Repellent (Hydrophobic Coating) repels moisture and water. By repelling the water, the trapped dirt and salts stay off your lenses. So you will not need to clean them as often.
Anti-Radiation CoatingTOP
Our Premium Anti-Radiation coating is a new technology that is applied to lenses. The conductive coatings block 99.9% ELF/VLF E-field radiation from damaging your eyes. This coating is highly recommended if you spend a lot of time at the computer or watching TV.
LENS ADD-ONS EXPLAINED
TintsTOP
Tinting is applied to both sides of the lens for the look of sunglasses without the polarization effect. Available colours are gray, brown, green, purple and blue.
There are two kinds of tints available - Light Tints and Dark Tints.
Light tints are great for disguising bags under the eyes and if you've got a slight aversion to light. Light tints should be used in conjunction with an ultraviolet protective (UV400) coating.
Dark tints are if you want sunglasses for bright summer days. Note: they can't be worn for driving at night.
Note: Dark tints include ultraviolet protective (UV400) coating so you don’t need to choose this separately.
We provide tints ranging in a graded manner from 20 to 80 per colour, 20 being the lightest and 80 being the darkest. So if you would like a Light Tint then you should choose 20 or 40 and if you like a Dark Tint then go for 60 or 80.
Gradient TintsTOP
Gradient Tints or Graduated Tints are Dark at top of lens and Light at bottom. These tints are suitable for driving wear as you can see instruments better. These are cool and suitable for fashion as they look great!
Photochromic LensesTOP
Photochromic or Sun-Reactive lenses have a variable tint that adapts to light conditions, giving you comfortable vision in both bright light and shade. While indoors, the lens tint will lighten and allow as much light in as possible. When exposed to sunlight outdoors, the lenses will darken depending on the direct exposure to light. They are available for Single Vision, Bifocal and Progressive lenses in a choice of Brown or Gray.
Polarised LensesTOP
Polarised lenses are used as sunglasses to reduce glare from reflective surfaces such as the surface of a lake or the hood of a car. They accomplish this feat through a process called polarization, much like a venetian blind controls sunlight through a window.
Besides boaters, outdoor/sports enthusiasts who derive the most benefit from Polarised sunglasses include cyclists, skiers, golfers and joggers - who may enjoy a clearer view along with elimination of glare.
These sunglasses are recommended for driving and can reduce glare from surfaces such as the hood of the car or the road's surface. Polarised sunglasses also can be worn indoors by light-sensitive people, including post-cataract surgery patients and those who are continually exposed to bright light through windows.
