If you do not have a prescription OR if your current prescription is over 2 years old, then we highly recommend a check-up. You can visit your local optometrist/Eye Doctor/Optician who is legally required you to give you your eyeglasses prescription after conducting an eye exam. If they don’t give you one, make sure you ask them for your prescription.
If you have had an eye exam recently and have forgotten to ask for your prescription, no problem. Please re-visit your optician and ask for a copy of your prescription.
Note: The optician is legally obliged to provide you with a copy of your prescription after your eye exam.
